TPG sees Infomedia as a fit within its existing global software portfolio (which includes Wind River and McAfee) and wants to accelerate Infomedia's expansion across the Asia Pacific, EMEA, and Americas.
The offer represented a premium of more than 30% to Infomedia's pre-announcement share price, comparable to a 2022 offer the company had previously turned down.
